Goal 4: The library embraces and promotes Durham'c cultural heritage, thereby contributing to a vibrant community.

 

4.2:  By 6/30/09, usage of the Library's Durham local history collections will increase by 25%--based on data to be collected in 2008.

 

What are some strategies we have for this?

 

 

A.      Present programs that lead participants to use NC Collection resources.

B.       Increase digitization of special collections.

C.       Increase access to local history materials by digitization.

D.      Increase staffing levels to state average of comparable collection.

E.       Analyze NC Room with recommendations for space expansion, as part of the Main Library CIP plan for FY 2012 project.
